*Class Materials
Piano and Guitar students are required to purchase books and materials for their lessons which will be chosen by the instructor. Voice students will be provided with some materials and music for their lessons however, additional purchases may be required. These materials must be brought to each lesson. The teachers spend a great deal of time preparing for a lesson and an unprepared student causes time to be lost in training.
-Students should not be dropped off at the studio more than 5 minutes before scheduled lesson times and should be picked up no later than 5 minutes after class ends. 5678 Dance shall not assume responsibility for students dropped off early or left late and shall not assume responsibility for students outside the building.
-Students are expected to attend lessons on a regular basis. Lesson times are reserved for one particular student; therefore, absences will not be refunded. Make-up lessons will not be granted for absences. If you know you will be absent due to a vacation, illness, etc., please notify the instructor immediately. Make-up lessons will be offered only if the instructor must miss a lesson. Students with frequent absences will not be permitted to perform.
-No food or drinks other than water will be permitted inside the studio.
-A student’s personal belongings should be labelled with his or her name.
-5678 Dance follows Gwinnett County Public Schools’ decisions on inclement weather closings/delays. Classes cancelled on these decisions may be made up but shall not be refunded.
-Any student that is confirmed to have COVID-19, is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or has been exposed to a person that has tested positive for COVID-19 is not permitted to participate in classes until they are no longer a risk of infection to the other students and teachers.
Our music students will perform twice each year: Holiday Harmonies and our annual Spring Recital. For a student to be eligible to participate in a performance, your account MUST be current in payment. Each of our annual music performances is professionally produced and provides the student with a very enriching and rewarding opportunity to display his or her talents!
All families will have access to our parent portal to process payments, register for classes, and be informed of current happenings at the studio. It is very important that you check this often and keep your information up to date. We understand that as a parent, you receive a million emails a day, but it is our most used form of communication and the best way to contact us. We are committed to staying “green” by reducing our output of paperwork. Please add support@compuacademy.net to your address book to prevent important information being sent to your spam/junk folders. You can access the ParentPortal through our website www.5678dance.com or at www.compudance.com.
To withdraw from lessons, a student must provide thirty (30) days written notice via e-mail at info@5678dance.com. Any payments due and paid after providing notice are non-refundable.
